What Construction Can Teach Us About Stronger NDIS Organisations
For the past few months, I’ve been watching a building site across from my kids’ school.
At first, it was just a big cleared block with a decent-sized slab. My coffee-loving heart hoped for a café, but nope - it’s another childcare centre (our fifth in the suburb!).
Then, almost overnight, a huge two-storey steel structure appeared. It’s wild how quickly they can go from a bare slab to something that actually looks like a building.
And it got me thinking…
Builders use steel, bolts, and a solid foundation to ensure their structures are safe and long-lasting.
NDIS providers? We have our quality and governance frameworks.
These frameworks:
Without a well-aligned, strong framework, NDIS providers risk more than just inefficiencies. Weak structures can lead to compliance breaches, poor service delivery, and increased risks for workers and participants.
So here’s the big question…
Does your quality framework feel strong enough to support your current structure - and the weight of future growth?
Every structure needs maintenance. And the same applies to your quality framework.
