Meet the (self-proclaimed) 'Quality Queen' behind Quality HQ

In 2007 I said goodbye to a ridiculously cushy job at a fortune 500 company and entered into the big wild (and decidedly more humbling) world of Human Services… and I’ve never looked back.
I had found my passion...
...and have spent every year since working in disability, aged care, and mental health services, with a variety of organisations, as an external auditor, internal auditor, and quality specialist.
I see my role as kind of like a roadie for a band. Supporting the people who support the people. To make sure that everything is tuned, plugged in, and they have everything they need to put on a show that leaves the crowd (i.e. their clients) going wild for more.
I see quality beyond a set of boxes to tick
REAL quality is all about the outcome of those ticks – the streamlined processes that save time and money, the legislation naturally built into organisational culture, and most of all it’s about the people. Creating systems and processes that result in awesome outcomes for clients and workers.
I started Quality HQ with a vision of supporting even more organisations to gain confidence in quality fundamentals, blitz their NDIS audits, connect with other quality champions, and to embed a culture of quality in their own organisations (all while reframing the 'boring bits' that often go along with anything that follows the words “rules and regulations”).
